This is a quick technique I use to ground myself and make sure I am focusing my energy towards emotions that guide me to my goals.
List your empowering and disempowering emotions. Then explain what needs are being met by doing/experiencing these. Pick the three you experience most of the time.

Disempowerment Emotions
- Anger
- Jealous
- Sadness
- Distraction
- Disgust
- Boredom
- Annoyance
- Fear
My empowering Emotions

The needs met by doing this is certainty, love (attention), and confidence.
I feel when i am doing these I am empowering others by being a positive light in people's life, I feel courageous by doing what I know is the harder path.
My Disempowering Emotions
- Fear
- Sadness
- Jealous
The needs met by doing this is attention, warmth, connection with my best friend, ultimately being closer to the one I love.
I use these things to try and control the situation and direct it to where I really want it to be. You'll notice that we can achieve great feelings through simplistic processes.
I challenge you to take 15 min out of your day and mimic what I just presented to you. Being honest with yourself sucks sometimes but I guarantee you have heard it before, the truth will set you free.
